Job Search

job-search-two-guysThe job search services of WORKplace focus on helping people find their first job, find a new job, or return to work. From helping a person search for openings online, to developing a resume, to practicing interviewing, the Library has both classes and one-on-one assistance available. In addition, online service is provided via JobNow! in the above areas as well as career planning resources, interest assessments, and an adult learning center. Writing coaches are available as well.

Friends Support

The Friends has secured grant funds for these services, including the purchase of laptops, and special availability of college students to work one-on-one with job searchers.

At a Glance

Annually, attendance at Job Search classes and workshops are steadily over 10,000 peopleonline resources are used over 100,000 times.
