What will you discover?

The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library invites you on a journey to discover the magic of libraries across the city. Here’s how to participate:

Visit libraries. Visit any Saint Paul Public Library location to pick up a passport, then journey to our other locations across the city.
Get stickers. Show your passport to library staff at the front desk and get a sticker for that location.
Complete bonus challenges. Get another sticker for completing each of the four bonus challenges included in the passport.

Enter to win prizes

Once you’ve collected enough stickers to qualify for one of the prizes below, bring your passport to the front desk at any Saint Paul Public Library location by August 15, 2024. You will receive a limited edition vinyl sticker, plus staff will help you enter to win the following prizes. Click on the selections below for prize details.

Collect any seven location stickers and be entered to win the Friends + Library Merchandise Starter Kit.

Includes a Friends tote bag, a Friends mug, and a sticker.

Collect all thirteen location stickers and be entered to win the Saint Paul Readers Package.

Includes a set of nine 2024 Minnesota Book Award Winner books plus a $25 gift card to Red Balloon Bookshop.

Collect thirteen location stickers plus four bonus challenge stickers and be entered to win the Ultimate Loon Package.

Includes the Minnesota United FC Experience package with four tickets to a Loons game, four passes to watch the warm-up from the field, and select Loons merchandise. We'll also include a Library Laser Loon tote bag just to stick with the theme!

Where to get your Mobile Library sticker

While the brand new Mobile Library vehicle is getting ready to hit streets, you can get that sticker at Rice Street Library. Simply ask the staff at the main desk!

The fine print

To receive the vinyl sticker and be eligible for prizes, you must complete your passport between May 15 and August 15, 2024. Winners will be drawn and announced in August. Limit one winner per household. By entering the drawing, you'll automatically receive e-news from The Friends (a few times a month). Passport participants and winners do not need to be Saint Paul residents. Friends staff and board members and Saint Paul Public Library staff members are not eligible to win prizes.
