Recognizing Generosity

The annual Trustee and Donor Appreciation Luncheon recognizes the generosity shown by The Friends’ contributors who help support the Saint Paul Public Library. The luncheon is held annually at the Town and Country Club in Saint Paul with a featured author presentation. All Trustees and Donor Circle members in attendance receive a copy of the author’s latest book. After lunch and the author presentation, attendees are invited to meet the author and have their books signed.

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the publication of The Great Gatsby, Jillian Cantor will discuss her work and the book Beautiful Little Fools. 

Trustees and Donor Circle members who attend will receive a complimentary copy of the book (one copy per household). A book signing will follow the program.

Jillian Cantor has a BA from Penn State University and an MFA from the University of Arizona. She is the USA Today and internationally bestselling author of 13 novels for teens and adults which have been chosen for Indie Next, Library Reads, Amazon Best of the Month and have been translated into 15 languages, including, most recently The Greatest Lie of All. Born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia, Cantor currently lives in Arizona with her husband and two sons. Her 14th novel, The May House, will be published in 2026 by Atria.
